Certificate Import Instructions

To Import Your Unipass® Digital Certificate to Internet Explorer, please follow the instructions below;  

1. Open Internet Explorer  

2. Click on the "Tools" Menu  

3. Click on "Internet Options"  

4. There are several pages in the Internet Options section - Click on the "Content" Tab   

5. Look for the Certificates section about halfway down the page and click the "Certificates" button   

6. Click the "Import" button  

7. Click on Next  

8. Click on the Browse button to locate your Certificate file  

9. Select the location you have stored your certificate file  

10. Highlight your Unipass®  (Tip - If this does not initially appear try selecting "All Files" in the "Files Of Type" field) 

11. Click Open  

12. Click Next  

13. Enter the Password you selected when exporting your Unipass® - unipass 

14. Select the tick boxes :-  "Enable Strong Private Key Protection" & "Mark The Private Key as Exportable"  

15. Click Next  

16. Select the option :-  "Automatically Select…….."  

17. Click Next  

18. Click Finish  

19. Importing a new Private Exchange Key  

20. Security level set to medium - Click OK  

21. The import was successful - Click OK  

 

To Import Your Unipass® Digital Certificate to Mozilla Firefox, please follow the instructions below;  

1.          Open Firefox  

2.         Click on the "Tools" Menu 

3.         Click on "Options"  

4.         Click on the "Advanced" Tab  

5.         Click on the “Encryption” Tab 

6.         Click “View Certificates” 

7.         Click “Import”  

8.         Select the location you have stored your certificate file  

9.         Highlight your Unipass®   

10.        Click Open  

11.        Enter the Password you selected when exporting your Unipass® -  unipass 

12.        Click “OK” 

13.        The import was successful - Click OK
