How do I setup renewal commission?

To record Renewal (Trail) commission against a holding, firstly locate the client, holding and navigate to the Commissions section:
Ensure that the Renewal commission basis field has been completed from the dropdown list.  To record this renewal commission, click onto the Renewal tab:
If the information in blue (to the right of the fields) is correct, simply use the Use calculated values button.
If the 'Commencement date' of the renewal commission needs to be amended, simply click in the Commencement date field and amend.

If the renewal commission is to be reconciled each month, ensure that the Renewal transfer flag field is set to Yes.  If the information being recorded is for information only, leave it blank or choose No.  Now that the renewal commission is set up, this needs to be posted each month to enable it to be reconciled.
