It is the responsibility of the IFA to highlight any areas of financial weakness in your clients existing plans. The Personal Financial Review is designed to offer a comprehensive document highlighting your client’s current circumstances and shortfalls. It will cover all areas of financial planning including Life assurance, Critical Illness, Retirement planning and even Inheritance tax issues.
To be able to use the Personal Financial Review (PFR), the Fact Find will need to have been fully completed with all the relevant information. To access the PFR, navigate to the Analysis section of the Fact Find module, then to Reports > Holistic.
The areas to be covered in the PFR can be selected from here or from within the PFR itself. Select the Print options tab and select View the Personal Financial Review and select/print the pages individually.
Some of the details required can be pre-populated from previously entered data meaning a comprehensive client report may be prepared in a fraction of the time taken to prepare manually.
If an area of need has not been fully completed and the page in the PFR is blank, this can be completed from coming out of the PFR and navigating to Report contents.
Click on the need area that has not been fully completed and then complete the fields that are presented.
Once completed, click on Holistic on the history bar and then print the PFR.
