|CCD uses a template file to indicate the font and style of any document which is exported to Microsoft Word. This article explains how to modify this template to use fonts and colours that you want.|
You will firstly need to create your Microsoft Word template within Microsoft Word:
Set your company standard font, size and the required spacing you use for your correspondence. Once you have set it up, you will then need to save it as a Microsoft Word template.
If you are using Microsoft Word 2007, in the Save as
type field select - Word 97-2003 Template (*.dot) template:
If you are using an version earlier than 2007, Microsoft Word 2003 or earlier, from the Save as type select Word Teplate (.dot).
Once you have created your Microsoft Word template it can be setup with CCD. The template needs to be selected in Setup > Technical and select Configure setup for MS word at the bottom right of the screen:
Select the yellow folder for the Template file to browse to the template that has been setup and select it. Click OK to save the template location. If you are using a number of PC's networked together, this will need to be done on each machine within the network.
Any correspondence that is created through CCD can now be output to Microsoft Word in your preferred format.
