How do I create an adviser record?

In addition to a staff record, any person who is a consultant will require an adviser record to be created. This will be used to assign clients to them and to record the level of commission and/or fees generated.

To enable you to create an adviser record, you first need to have recorded an entry in the staff list for them.

From the Main Menu, click on Setup followed by Staff list on the left.

To enter the consultant record concerned, click on the More button to the right of the client name. If the staff member has not been added to the list, click on the  + Add record button:

At the bottom on the right of the screen it reads: This person is an adviser – by placing a cross in the box, this identifies this member of staff as an adviser. You  are now able to add a commission split for any business written:
