Using the Marketing Campaign Wizard

Once you have located your ‘found set’ of clients, i.e. those clients that you wish to correspond with, you may proceed to creating the marketing records.

If you have located your target clients using the Marketing campaign wizard, you will have a list of the clients with 4 options at the top of your screen: Confirm found set, Campaign set-up, Set Standard Text and Merge data.
The first option will be highlighted; to prepare your marketing records click on the second option at the top of your screen, Campaign set-up. You will then be asked 'Do you wish to create a marketing campaign for the CURRENT record, or the entire FOUND SET?' i.e. the list you are viewing.

Choose Found set.
You must now record details of the type of marketing action you wish to undertake. Firstly identify the type of exercise by recording details in the Initial action box. The system comes populated with some actions by way of example but these can be added to accordingly, to your requirements. If you require a diary note to follow up your marketing campaign then enter the date as appropriate in the Action by date box. Identify the type of communication you wish to issue in the Communication method box. Should you wish to record a reference or mark the letters private then mark the boxes accordingly.

Once established, the system will confirm that the records are set-up and proceed to stage 3 – Set standard text. Please see the related knowledge base item for further details.

From a manual search
