This document shows you how to record details within the Core Corporate Fact find about a company’s accounts. These are used to calculate the key ratios required to assess the company’s efficiency and therefore prove a worthwhile investment. This section of the fact find is extensive and has therefore been broken down into a number of different knowledge base articles.
From the manager screen click on Fact find on the left hand side and locate your corporate client using the Find record option on the top right hand side of your screen. Click on Fact find on the left hand side of your screen. If a fact find has previously been created for your client then you will be taken to this area of the system. If not then you will be asked to confirm that you wish to create a fact find.
Click on Core Fact Find for Corporate clients > Accounts
The Accounts section of the fact find is further sub-divided into 5 main categories which are Status, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Borrowing and Key ratios.
Click on the Status tab and record details such as the Company Status i.e. if it is a Limited company or a Publicly quoted company. You may record details of any share capital issued and details of the tax district and reference numbers.
